Indonesian parliamentary delegation to visit Tehran

TEHRAN, Dec. 06 (MNA) – A high-ranking parliamentary delegation from Indonesia are scheduled to visit Tehran next Sunday to hold talks with Iranian officials.

The Indonesian parliamentary delegation will serve the official visit to Tehran on December 13.

During their four-day trip, the Indonesian lawmakers are slated to hold meetings with Chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi, Governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) Valiollah Seif, Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi, Oil Minister Bijan Namadar Zanganeh, Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh and a number of parliament members.

The latest visit by a high-ranking Indonesian official to Iran was the visit of Foreign Minister Rento Marsudi on Oct. 15. Marsudi who was accompanied by a delegation comprising of Energy and Mineral Resources officials held talks with Iranian authorities on electricity and energy cooperation.
